I was born in 1975 in Greenville, MS, but the most exciting day for me was when I gave my life to Jesus in 1983. I felt a calling to youth ministry my senior year of high school and served in youth ministry for 11 years. February 2008, God opened a doorway and my heart to receive the call to become Lead Pastor at Crossroads of Life Church. One April 14^th, 2008, I began the great honor of leading this church toward the Heavenly Vision God has given it. My highest goal in ministry is to see people fall madly in love with Jesus and commit to following Him in every aspect of their life. I have a heart for the community of Byram, MS, and long to see the Body of Christ come together for the purpose of reaching the community and fulfilling God’s purpose for the Church: to be ONE, that He might receive all the Glory. I am also committed to raising up a generation of leaders who know and can stand up for what they believe, not living off what others believe but making Faith in Jesus their own.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry from The John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I played Tennis all four years of college and served as an intern at a local church student ministry beginning my second year at John Brown. I went on to receive my Masters degree in Community Counseling from John Brown as well. I have served at churches in Arkansas, Missouri and now Mississippi. I have been married to my wife, Tressa, whom I met at John Brown, for 10 years and we have a two daughters, Teryn, who is 4 and Teagan, who is 6 months. Tressa is also very involved in our church and student ministry. She is passionate about helping women discover how to become truly captivating women of God.

My life verse is II Peter 1:3 "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness." My passions include: spending time with my wife and daughters, playing guitar and leading in praise and worship, coaching tennis, and providing opportunities for individuals to grow in their relationship with Jesus. I am also very passionate about developing relationships in the community and building bridges between denominational and racial lines. On any given day you can find me eating, discussing stats on players of any professional sport, rooting for my Dallas Cowboys & Mavericks, talking on my cell phone and being transformed into a Bull Dawg fan. (who let the dawgs out!?!?!)

Cindy Brown has been the bookkeeper for Crossroads of Life Church since November 2004. She also handles the church newsletter and other advertising items for the church. She has a degree in Commercial Design and Advertising, but found a love for bookkeeping while employed with St. Paul Presbyterian School for over 12 years. Cindy has been married for 27 years to her husband, John and they have a daughter, Melissa, who will graduate from Mississippi College in 2009 with a degree in Business Education. In her spare time Cindy enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
